Elizabeth Kayfish

Elizabeth is a graduate of Grand Valley State University where she studied clinical exercise science, completing her degree with high honors. She currently holds the Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist certification.Throughout college, Elizabeth mentored students in academics, as well as, worked with patients looking to improve their physical wellness at Hulst Jepsen and Healthquest Physical Therapy clinics. In her senior year, Elizabeth interned for Athletic Mentors and in the spring of 2016 she became a part of the Athletic Mentors team.

Wellness and physical activity have always been an important part of Elizabeth’s life. At the age of four, Elizabeth started competing in gymnastic competitions across the country and continued her involvement in team athletics throughout high school and college. In high school Elizabeth ran track and swam, making it to states and breaking many school records. In college, she was a member and vice president of the Grand Valley Swim Club, where she kept up on her swimming to eventually train for triathlons. In 2015, she completed her first olympic distance triathlon and has competed in several other distances since. In fall of 2017, Elizabeth completed her first full Ironman distance triathlon.

As an Athletic Mentor coach, Elizabeth takes pride in building meaningful relationships with clients and assisting them in reaching their personal goals.
