Kyle Bushee

Kyle was born and raised in Otsego, where he grew up playing hockey locally. At 15 he moved to Detroit to play Midgets. After turning 17, Kyle went to play juniors for the Des Moines Buccaneers. After 1 year in Des Moines, he went to Western Michigan University on a hockey scholarship for 2 years. Kyle spent his transfer year back in Des Moines of the USHL and where he won the Clark Cup Championship. Kyle’s next step was on to Canisius College in Buffalo, NY where he graduated with a degree in exercise science.

Kyle turned pro after graduation and has since played for many teams across the ECHL, AHL, and Europe. Kyle is currently a K-Wings player that has played in over 700 professional games and sits 8th in the all-time in ECHL games played. He was voted an all-star on 2018.

Outside of hockey, Kyle enjoys cycling, pickleball, tennis and a good crossword puzzle. He currently resides in Kalamazoo with his wife, Katie.
